Our official UK launch took place in London on Wednesday May 8, at an event held together with our partner Classic Fine Foods. We are proud to be collaborating with Classic Fine Foods, who deliver the highest quality of fresh, frozen and pastry products to the very best restaurants and hotels across the UK, enabling the creation of menus and recipes that will excite the most demanding of tastes. The event took place at Classic Fine Foods’ Taste Lab, where invitees enjoyed a delicious buffet, created by our chef Peter Remmelzwaal. Read more about this event and discover Peter’s recipes here.
Following an opening presentation, a tutored tasting of four key couverture chocolates took place. Samples of couvertures were presented and eagerly tasted by all present, who commented on the rich flavours, and surprising combinations of taste and textures. After this well-received tasting chef Peter Remmelzwaal presented a sumptuous buffet featuring a range of chocolate-based delicacies, made with a variety of techniques.
Following his introduction, Peter Remmelzwaal kept the attendees fully captivated whilst explaining how he made his pastries with Veliche Gourmet chocolate in detail. The chefs were delighted to receive a unique gift: an inspiration book containing the pastry recipes, which had been developed for this special occasion. 1) Dessert in glass

2) Chocolate choux

3) Moulded Bonbon ‘Azia’
A bonbon made with Emotion 58 Belgian dark couverture chocolate, spiced ganache, yuzu jelly and crispy dark chocolate. A great blend of chocolate textures with a tangy citrus hit that’s easy to recreate: click here.
4) Tropical petit four
It’s almost a shame to eat this creamy white chocolate treat, neatly offset by exotic accents! This petit four is made with Obsession 30 Belgian white chocolate, coco financier, vanilla anglaise and fresh mango and lime. Find the recipe here.
5) Champagne chocolate truffle
